Robert Crawling

Robert has very rapidly been improving his crawling. Just a week ago, he was not getting very far, but now he is able to crawl back and forth across the room when he sees something he wants to get.

Here is a video from yesterday.

Robert and Halloween 2010

It’s a few days late, but here are some pictures of Robert in his Halloween costume.

For his first Halloween, Robert was an octopus. He went to a party at Hristina’s office the week before, and then went trick or treating with Jason on Halloween night. The final picture is a nice one of him smiling after bath time.

Six Months and More

A little over two weeks ago Robert turned six months old.

At his six month doctor’s appointment, he was 27 inches tall and weighed 17 pounds 4 ounces. This is an increase of 1.5 inches and 2 pounds from his 4 month visit.

Recently, his two top teeth have showed up, bringing the tooth total to four. We think more teeth are coming soon.

Below is a recent photo of Robert after bath time. Also, there is a video of Robert making his best attempt to crawl, with a cameo appearance by  Jason.

Robert’s Two Teeth

Over the weekend, Robert and family went to a small carnival. It was only a quick walk down the hill from our house and featured food, games, rides, and raffles.

Robert was very excited and happy for the entire time we were there. Any time we are some place new or different, Robert is always very interested and stays awake to catch every detail.

While Jason was on the Merry Go Round, I took some close up pictures of Robert. His two teeth are visible in the first two pictures. Click on any image to enlarge.

Robert’s First Tooth!

Robert’s first tooth appeared this past Thursday, September 9, 2010.

We had a good idea that his teeth would be coming in soon. He had been a little bit cranky and chewing on his toys (more than usual) for the past week or so. The tooth is one of his lower front teeth, and we are sure more will be coming in soon.

Robert has also started making some progress in crawling. He will lay on his stomach, hold his head and shoulders up with his arms, and kick with his legs.
